Brückenweg Visp residential and commercial building
BVZ Holding significantly expanded its real estate portfolio with the completion of the construction of the Brückenweg building in Visp. The building's commercial tenants, Migros Wallis, C&A and Kuoni, opened their doors for the first time in the summer of 2012. The residential flats were occupied in 2013. Thanks to the attractive location and high quali-ty, tenant demand for the 79 residential flats was very high. The Brückenweg residential and commercial building in Visp is part of the BVZ’s strategy to develop its real estate business as a further diversification to minimise its dependency on the tourism business.

Real estate projects with a long-term focus
BVZ Asset Management AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of BVZ Hold-ing AG, is responsible for the buildings and property of the BVZ Group not required for operations and rents property to tenants in the areas of residential, gastronomy, shopping and office space.
Together with its partners, the company implements development pro-jects linked to the railway network of the Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn. One of the projects that has been realised is the “Brückenweg” residen-tial and commercial building right next to the railway station in Visp. Among other things, its real estate portfolio ensures better risk management and profit stabilisation for BVZ Holding.
